Go to the Free Resources section to see the details on this fun weekend project. Don't have an Arduino? That's ok. We sell an introduction to Arduino kit so you can get up to speed quick.
We are bathed in a soup of electromagnetic energy. It is a fascinating hobby to scan the airwaves and decode frequencies and transmissions. An easy way to do this is with a simple digital TV receiver and some software. Take the plunge into this amazing hobby.

Check out this quick intro to our piezoelectric energy harvesting lab.
Did you ever want to harness the energy that children have? Well, we do. If you have ever seen kids with light up shoes, they are not powered by batteries but by a device that converts pressure to electricity. Now you can have this same device for experimenting.
Our energy harvesting lab has all you need to experiment with turning finger taps into power. This is great for a science fair as there are a lot of variables you could investigate. Get yours today!
I have always been fascinated by digital watches. Yea, I know, pretty geeky. When smartwatches came out, I thought that it would be the coolest thing ever. But as it turned out, they just became small displays for our phones. So I set out to create a smartwatch that was a stand alone computer and could be programmed to do anything you wanted with the very popular Arduino system. I started the project as part of a contest that Atmel was doing (I did not win), but continued it to improve the original design. You can see videos of the project at my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/G1-fJkdh0o4
And you can read up on the project on my blog: http://arduinosmartwatch.blogspot.com/
And here is where I first conceived of the idea. It shows the power of a breadboard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1kwe0kx0b4
I hope to continue to offer interesting, engaging, and educational products to help motivate and inspire nuts like me.
To celebrate the release of two more Subsystem units (Internet of Things and Write a Phone App), we are offering free shipping to the US until 3/12/2017. Use coupon code: FreeShipUSA at checkout and your order ships free. Free is good, right? We thing so. We thanks our customers so much for your support and great feedback. And be sure to check out our free resources to students section. There is some fun stuff there and it will always be growing.
Thanks so much for the Kickstarter backers who came and purchased modules. You guys helped me during the campaign and helped me on the launch of my site. I was able to test most of the functionality of the ordering, payment, and file delivery systems for the site. You guys are the best. I truly hope you enjoy the kits and have as much fun learning on them as I had making them. Here is a picture of the first order to leave Subsystems. It's pretty exciting to us. Thanks again for all your support!
